I too have just finished 'Giant Steps', Karl. Picked it up expecting just the usual travel journal schtick but have finished it truly inspired. It sounds pathetic compared to your exploits but I now intend to walk the entire coast of the British Isles. All the best and keep on going.

A journey does not have to be geographical. I have read your book and this a colourful journey through life itself. You have taken in much of world culture and landscape.
I crude terms, you have not finished. In real terms you will always trying achieve what you already have!

Hey Karl, do you remember Sam and Jon Turner from Aldershot all those years ago. After having a lot of drinks with friends and family I told them of your epic journey across South/North America and across the Bering Straits so we had a look at your website to see where you are up to.
