Just watched the show, 'Long Way Round'. With Ewan McGreggor and Charley Boorman.F ntastic show. Perhaps they could help?! Being in your situation, or something like it. Worth a shot eh? Loved your book. A true inspiration. Praying for you! Neumann

Keep going Karl!
Attempted the South West Coast Path a few years ago but i was young, inexperienced and unfit. Failing 140 miles in gave me a real knock and i vowed not to attempt it again as i felt i couldn't do it. As a birthday gift this week i recieved your book of the first part of your trek. I've been inspired and in 2011 i plan to complete the Lands End to John-O-Groats for cancer research. From there i'll see where my feet take me!
I have my fingers crossed for the rest of your trip!

Been following you for a long time. Never give up. Someone is bound to sponsor you at some point. Keep chasing the dream. I really admire that you haven't quit yet, I think most people would have just given up.
An idea I had (and I'm not trying to be sarcastic) is why not get a job for a while? I know there's the ridiculousness of work Visas, but couldn't you just get a job working at a hotel, hostel, restaurant, anything and just save up the money? It seems difficult, but really $8000 - $9000 isn't that much money if you get a couple jobs and live frugally, even if the pay is crap. Just something to think about. Pursue the funding on your time off. Hard work is always rewarded.

Hey Karl! The website is looking good! Man it sounds frustrating trying to wade through the funding and paperwork. You come up in conversation all the time up here, you're missed. Luv, KT
